The Ferguson Family is a family gospel music ministry that is dedicated to serving the Lord and spreading the Word of God through song. We have been blessed to travel the past 16 years and our commitment to our ministry has never been stronger!
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is our savior.
We hope that our ministry will not only reach the lost who do not know Jesus, but that it will also encourage those who are struggling, uplift those who are down, and create a joyful heart in all those we encounter. The Ferguson Family is a home that believes in serving God.
The group is made up of husband and wife Bill & Brenda Ferguson and their children Lisa Ann and Steven. Bill and Brenda's oldest daughter, Breanna, recently graduated medical school and is a practicing physician in Tavares, Florida. Their youngest daughter Sara Lynn is an elementary school teacher.
Based in Central Florida, The Ferguson Family was called into the ministry in 2005 and has been ministering throughout the Southeast for the past 16 years. Their ministry provides a wide range of music, from old quartet standards, to fresh new arrangements from some of gospel music's most prolific writers. We are humbled as the reach of our ministry has expanded to include the Southeastern and Midwest of the United States. Our concert schedule has grown and doors continue to open for new avenues of ministry across the country. 2013 was a breakout year as they were chosen as a Top 20 artist at the NQC Regional stage and were privileged to make their NQC Main Stage debut at the final year of the convention in Louisville KY. They were chosen as a Featured Artist from 2012 – 2018 and were named by the NQC as a MAIN STAGE ARTIST since 2019. In the fall of 2013 The Ferguson Family joined the cast of the exciting new show Great American Gospel & American Gospel Onstage, and also garnered a Top 10 Nomination as FAVORITE NEW MIXED GROUP in the Singing News Fan Awards 2014. The Ferguson Family is privileged to be part of the Harvest Fest line up at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN
The Ferguson Family has charted 14 new songs over the past 8 years, in the Singing News Top 80, with “Fourth Man” coming in at #40. Their Single LIVING FOR THE CALL remained at #48 for 3 straight months on The Singing News national chart and earned the Diamond Award for Sonrise Song of the Year in 2019.
Knowing God has truly blessed us with a clear vision to serve Him; we look forward to what's ahead and are faithfully approaching what God has planned for us.
Brenda Ferguson
Brenda Ferguson began her ministry in 1998 in the role of staff musician and singer at a local church near her home in Tavares, Florida. She spent many years as the Worship Leader at several churches in Central Florida, and since August of 2005 has dedicated her free time to ministering on the road with several gospel groups. The ministry of Great Day started as a mixed trio in 2005 with Brenda, her husband Bill, and a fellow musician from church. They traveled until 2009 when their daughter Lisa Ann stepped in, and Great Day continued as a family group. In 2015, their son Steven began to travel with and the family chose to rebrand as The Ferguson Family in the fall of 2017, and since that time, the family has traveled throughout the United States spreading the gospel through song.
Through the week when she isn't on the road with the ministry, Brenda works as the practice administrator with her daughter Breanna, who is a podiatrist in Tavares, FL. She has four children, Breanna, Lisa Ann, Sara, and Steven.
Throughout her time with the ministry, and even before, she has also loved to take time to speak and sing at women's events, wanting to encourage other women in their walk with Christ. She is passionate about reaching women and encouraging them to be full in their walk with Christ. Brenda's dynamic style of sharing her message is not only uplifting and encouraging, it is filled with fun, heartfelt testimony and scripture.
